กำหนดการจ่ายไฟฟ้าเข้าระบบเชิงพาณิชย์ หรือ COD ของบริษัทวินชัยจำกัด

บริษัท วินชัย จำกัด ได้ทำพิธีลงนามทำสัญญาซื้อขาย กับการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย อย่างเป็นทางการ ด้วยขนาดกำลังการผลิต 45 เมกะวัตต์ โดยใช้กังหันลมของเวสทัส จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 13 ต้น โดยแต่ละต้นมีกำลังการผลิต 3.45 เมกะวัตต์ ทั้งนี้โครงการ ได้ทำการจ่ายไฟฟ้าเข้าระบบเชิงพาณิชย์ หรือ COD ให้กับการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฝผ.) เมื่อวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2562

เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 11 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2561 ทางโครงการร่มเกล้า วินด์ฟาร์ม จังหวัดมุกดาหาร โดยผู้จัดงานได้แก่ ทีมงานบริษัท นทลิน กรุ๊ป, ทีมงานบริษัท เดอะ โพรดิจี กรุ๊ป ร่วมกับ ทีมงานบริษัท อัลฟา เอ็นเนอร์จี โฮลดิ้ง จำกัด ขอขอบพระคุณอย่างยิ่งที่ได้รับเกรียติจากท่าน พลตำรวจเอก อดุลย์ แสงสิงแก้ว  รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้เกรียติร่วมเป็นประธานพิธีลงนาม ใบพัดกังหันลมต้นที่ 8 ของโครงการ

Alpha sign MOU with the Metropolitan Electricity Authority of Thailand

Alpha signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) of Thailand in April 2018. The MOU formalizes a joint venture partnership between Alpha and MEA with the aim to develop, construct and operate renewable energy projects within the MEA service area and jointly invest in energy projects across the country.

Thai MoE and Irena report that a 37% RE target is achievable

Thailand's Ministry of Energy and the International Renewable Energy Association have published a joint report making the case for a 37% renewable energy target for 2036. The PDP and AEDP are currently being revised and the target is expected to be increased from the current 30% target. MoE and Irena promote the increase of wind energy to 6GW and solar to 17GW. Policy makers will now need to consider the recommendations of the MoE and derive a plan.

A review of Thailand's AEDP 2015 (Ahead of the update)

The Alternative Energy Development Plan 2015 (AEDP) was developed to reduce dependency on imported energy and increase alternative energy capacity from 7,279 MW in 2014 to 19,635 MW in 2036.

To meet this target, the AEDP has adopted the following principles:

  • Prioritize power generation from waste, biomass, and biogas;
  • Allocate renewable energy generation capacity according to demand and potential in regions/provinces;
  • Promote current low-priority solar and wind power projects at a later stage once cost becomes competitive compared with power generation from liquefied natural gas;
  • Change the selection process for feed-in tariff grants from first-come, first-served to competitive bidding;
  • Promote community energy production to reduce fossil fuel usage;
  • Increase the share of renewable energy consumption from the current 12% to 30% in 2036.

Alpha and Winchai team visits wind turbine suppliers in Europe

In advance of choosing a supplier for our wind farm, Alpha joined Prodigy Co. Ltd., our partners in the Mukdaharn project, on a trip to Europe to visit the equipment manufacturers. The trip had stops in Germany, Denmark and Spain to visit GE, Vestas and Gamesa. The team visited manufacturing facilities for nacelles, blades and towers as well as testing and training facilities.
